Events

See below for a list of key events in the Rookery and Common for 2017

More events and ticketing details will be added as we get them, so watch this space. Some of the events are run by our partners raising money for their own causes.

The Friends of Streatham Common often run really interesting nature events such as Bat Walks and Bug Hunting activities, these aren't listed here but check out their website for details http://streathamcommon.org/events/

It is no secret that this year, parks budgets have been slashed by at least 50%, so our SCCoop fund raising activities are vital for the survival of our Rookery and Common as we know it and more. We need to provide services that go beyond just grounds maintenance to benefit the community at large including active, quality and innovative events for the disadvantaged, young and elderly. Our objective is to enhance this resource to benefit all segments of the South Lambeth community.

We are working hard to secure funding, grants and sponsorship and ensure that our fund raising events are affordable for our local community.

We often need volunteers for some of these events (and also a great way to see the shows for free!) so if you would like to volunteer to help out at an event either on the day or preparing for it contact [email protected]
